At BAB 7, one of the largest refueling and rest areas in Germany is being built. Up to 250 meters long are the individual tramlines that make the 181 herringbone pitches available for trucks. The approximately ten football fields large area was released in November 2017 for traffic. Under full operation, 254 parking spaces for cars and 13 parking spaces for buses are currently being built there. On the approximately 3.3 hectare area, a completely new large filling station will be created.
